Copic Certifications
We are pleased to announce that the following Copic Certification classes will be offered in 2012
-Papercraft – Standard Certification
-Papercraft – Intermediate Certification
-Education Certification – NEW!
Please see below for an explanation of each of the programs to determine which program is best suited to your requirements. All classes will be taught by qualified Copic Instructors who are highly regarded in their respective fields.
Dates will be posted approximately 8-12 weeks prior to a class. Registration for a class will only commence once the class dates have been posted. You will be required to complete an application form when registering for a class. Payment in full will be required once your booking is confirmed. All classes will run from 9am-4pm. Places are strictly limited to 25 people per class.
Papercraft - Standard Certification
The Papercraft Standard Certification is designed for papercrafters, scrapbookers, rubber stampers, store owners, store employees and designers. Our one-day intensive program will teach diverse applications for Copic products. The classes are technique based and no finished projects will be produced. This class aims to provide a hands on class covering the most important aspects of Copic’s product lines and techniques. It includes detailed product knowledge, blending techniques, testing inks and papers, and how to achieve the best possible results when colouring with Copic. You will receive a compressive manual covering the full range of Copic products and an extensive kit of Copic products. You will also have an opportunity to use all of these products hands-on, as we cover their function and differences between them. Class fee $150.
Papecraft - Intermmediate Certification
The Copic Papercrafting Intermediate Certification was developed for people who want to know more of the artistic aspects of working with Copic products. You must have completed the Standard Copic Certification class. In this class, you will cover shading, shadows and color. You will learn composition and design in paper crafting, coloring trees, working with reds, skin tones and coloring hair. Most importantly, you will learn to improve your own designs. If you want to take your coloring to the next level, this class is for YOU! You will receive a comprehensive manual and Copic bonus gift. Class fee $150.
***NEW - Education Certification
The Copic Education Certification is aimed at secondary and tertiary educators wanting to learn how to achieve the best possible results when using Copic Markers. This class will focus on numerous Copic techniques including design rendering, blending, air brushing and more whilst working on a variety of surfaces. The class is a hands on opportunity to develop your skills whilst performing a range of exercises which can be reproduced when teaching your own classes. You will receive a comprehensive manual covering a wide variety of techniques and applications as well as suggested exercises. You will also receive an extensive kit of Copic products. Class fee $195.
